Join Rowan Yarns and designer Martin Storey this Fall 2024 season for a delightful fair isle knit along. The Snowflower can be crafted into a beautiful, large scarf (shown above in the Autumn Berries colourway) or a cozy cowl (shown above in the Summer Seas colourway), featuring ten exquisite fair isle motifs in Rowan Felted Tweed. Both scarf and cowl are knit tubular for double thickness and right-side-only colourwork knitting. Each motif will be released weekly August 31st through November 2nd, allowing you to enjoy the knitting process while gradually working towards a breathtaking finished piece. Feel free to join at any time and work at your own pace.

Martin has curated a second colourway, "Summer Seas" (pictured above in the cowl version), in 8 shades of Rowan Felted Tweed including jewel toned hues and stormy neutrals. This yarn bundle matches the Summer Seas shopping list.

• 2 balls of col. 154 Ginger
• 1 ball of col. 194 Delft
• 1 ball of col. 170 Seafarer
• 2 balls of col. 152 Watery

• 1 ball of col. 193 Cumin

If you wish to choose your own colours for this project, instead of adding this Bundle to your cart, add the same quantities in your colours of choice from our general stock of Rowan Felted Tweed.

Recommended Needle Sizes (not included in bundle):

• Cowl: 3.75mm/US5 circular needles 16" or 20" in length. Here are our 16" and 20" choices in 3.75mm/US5 fixed circulars.
• Scarf: 3.75mm/US5 and 3.25mm/US3 (for the ribbing) circular needles 16" or 20" in length. Here are our 16" and 20" choices in 3.25mm/US3 fixed circulars.
• Knitters may substitute interchangeable circulars of the same length, longer circulars for magic loop, or double-pointed needles (DPNs) at their discretion. Both cowl and scarf are knit tubular and are 22.5" in circumference at exact gauge (double-layered and 12.25" wide when laid flat).
