This cashmere is not only luxurious, but it is environmentally conscious. It using both new and recycled Italian cashmere, and the production uses less water and energy than standard practices. It also gives the yarn more durability, making it less prone to pilling.
We have collected our favourite patterns designed specifically in Nordic Yarn Eco Cashmere for you on Ravelry, or it should substitute beautifully in these patterns for Blue Sky Fibers Eco Cashmere or these patterns for Rowan Pure Cashmere by Lisa Richardson and by Quail Studio. Note that while Nordic Yarn Eco Cashmere is classified as DK weight, it can also be used at a worsted weight gauge because it blooms to fill the space.
