This is one of two suggested colour options for the Snowflower (scarf or cowl options) designed by Martin Storey in Rowan Felted Tweed. The Snowflower can be crafted into a beautiful, large scarf (pictured above in the Autumn Berries colourway) or a cozy cowl (shown above in the Summer Seas colourway), featuring ten exquisite fair isle motifs in Rowan Felted Tweed. Both scarf and cowl are knit tubular for double thickness and right-side-only colourwork knitting. Each motif was released weekly during an Autumn 2024 Knitalong, but now they are all available free on demand under Snowflower Scarf & Cowl on Rowan's online education platform, Rowan Connect.
Martin has curated a seasonal berry colourway, "Autumn Berries" (pictured above in the scarf version), in 8 shades of Rowan Felted Tweed including dusky pinks, deep mulberries and earthy browns. This yarn bundle matches the Autumn Berries shopping list.

Recommended Needle Sizes (not included in bundle):
- Cowl: 3.75 mm / US 5 circular needles 16" or 20" in length. Here are our 16" and 20" choices in 3.75 mm / US 5 fixed circulars.
- Scarf: 3.75 mm / US 5 and 3.25 mm / US 3 (for the ribbing) circular needles 16" or 20" in length. Here are our 16" and 20" choices in 3.25 mm / US 3 fixed circulars.
- Knitters may substitute interchangeable circulars of the same length, longer circulars for magic loop, or double-pointed needles (DPNs) at their discretion. Both cowl and scarf are knit tubular and are 57 cm / 22.5" in circumference at exact gauge (double-layered and 31 cm / 12.25" wide when laid flat).
