Sunday is a perfect base yarn; it can be knitted alone as a lovely fingering weight, held double to create a DK/light worsted weight, or held together with a laceweight mohair such as Rowan Kidsilk Haze or SweetGeorgia Silk Mist for a dreamy halo. (Note that if adding mohair the garment will have to be hand washed).

The merino wool for this yarn originates in Uruguay, and is guaranteed to be non-mulesing.

Detailed Care Instructions from Sandnes Garn: For machine washing, we recommend that all wool garments be washed separately on a wool program, to ensure the gentlest treatment. Due to the unique absorbency of the merino wool, it is important to centrifuge hand-knitted garments well before drying them on a flat surface, preferably on top of a towel. Never use a laundry bag when washing hand-knitted wool garments. This creates friction that can cause the garment to felt.
