This book is a deeply personal and special project for Weichien of Saskie & Co., written during one of the hardest times. Having lost Saskatchewan, Weichien's beloved bunny. "After taking some time to slow down and process everything, I read that writing helps with grief, so I tried putting my thoughts into paper. I decided to explore modular knitting construction, a way of designing that is different from what I’m used to, while still incorporating my passion - colourwork and bunnies."

And so, Saskie Knits was created. A book filled with patchwork colourwork designs, something completely unique from what you’ve seen from Saskie & Co. previously. A book that encapsulates the grief of losing a soul pet. "I hope that anyone going through the same loss knows they’re not alone. And I hope to keep Saskie’s memory alive, one design at a time."
