Shipping & Returns

In-store exchanges or store credits for regular-priced yarn (unused, unwound, in original ball band ie. resalable condition) are available within 90 days of purchase, with presentation of the receipt. Sale yarn and other sale products, special orders, needles, notions, books, patterns, ready-to-wear garments, and giftware are all final sale. If you request a gift receipt when purchasing, any unused item in original packaging may be returned by the recipient with presentation of gift receipt, for refund or exchange within 30 days of purchase. Please contact us at support@urbanyarns.com before returning items by mail.

For in-store pickup, you will still need to fill in your Shipping Address at checkout, then the next step will be Shipping Method and you can select "Pick up in-store at Urban Yarns". Please wait to come in until we phone you letting you know your order is ready for pickup.

Free Shipping on orders over $200 CAD throughout Canada and the United States.

For orders under $200 CAD:

Shipping in Canada is a flat rate of $19.95 and is sent by Canada Post Expedited Parcel. Allow 3-7 business days for delivery to major urban centres, and more to non-major or remote locations. Tracking number is provided by email once shipped. Delivery may be delayed during peak holiday shipping periods and extreme weather events.

Shipping to the United States is a flat rate of $21.95 and is Canada Post Expedited Parcel or Canada Post Tracked Packet International. Allow up to 10 business days for delivery to major urban centres, and more to non-major or remote locations. Tracking number is provided by email once shipped. Delivery may be delayed during peak holiday shipping periods and extreme weather events.

International shipping outside of the United States is available on orders placed by phone or email only, at 604-228-1122 or 1-877-488-9276 or support@urbanyarns.com. Two shipping quotes will be provided for you to choose from: the lowest rate (up to 8 weeks for delivery, does not include tracking number therefore customer waives refund/replacement if lost by the postal service), or the next rate up that includes a tracking number and insurance (5-10 business days).

We reserve the right to cancel and refund online orders at our discretion if credit card fraud is suspected.
