Processed in a mill in England’s historical textile region of West Yorkshire, Lore is made of 100% lambswool from the Romney sheep breed also referred to locally as Kent lamb. It is an honest woolen spun DK weight yarn that blooms into a beautiful knitted fabric after washing. Garments made from Lore will wear well and are perfect for everyday and special adventures alike. This yarn was named Lore to honour the stories we create with wool. Great stories happen to those who knit them.
The Fibre Company's Borrowdale Collection for Lore, pictured above, is an expansive 21 patterns by 17 different designers. You can view yarn requirements and specifications on The Fibre Co. website, on Ravelry, or in-store at Urban Yarns.
We've collected some of our favourite patterns designed in Lore from indie designers for you, or substitute any of your favourite patterns calling for DK weight yarns, just be sure to swatch for gauge!
